Erika Langham is an English Australian social epidemiologist and implementation scientist. Her current work is on policy impact and evaluation, institutional racism, anti-racism, models of primary health care, the development of a patient reported experience measure (PREM) for community controlled primary health care, and the effect of funding models and system reform. Erika has contributed to Indigenous led research and evaluation projects that have examined aspects of Indigenous youth mental health, Indigenous health workforce, transition of primary healthcare to community control, community led responses to gambling harm, models of primary health care delivery, integrated care models, education, and anti-racism. She has over 60 peer-reviewed publications on topics such as the validity of western health measures for Indigenous youth, health screening of Indigenous youth in primary health settings, the integration of health services, participatory approaches to evidence reviews, and a range of systematic reviews relating to health and education. Erika has a keen interest in methodology, particularly the appropriateness and rigour of methods used to make claims in research and evaluation. She is a Certified Professional Modeler (Microsimulation), and a Certified Facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Methods and Materials.
