

Alice is a proud Ngarabul woman from Northern NSW and PhD Candidate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Futures & UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health. Alice is experienced in program design and implementation having worked across federal government, not for profit, and higher education in diverse programming roles. Alice is passionate about and committed to advocating for the rights and health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. With an academic background in Indigenous social policy and development, Alice is dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander self-determination and working to build successful partnerships across sectors, in order to increase community participation in development opportunities which are identified, led, and driven by community.
